DBY runs beginners yoga courses several times a year. These are designed for those with little or no previous experience of yoga.
Each class begins with a seated discussion about yoga, introducing yoga concepts, what yoga is and what it is for.
The beginners course runs for six weeks, by the end of which students will be prepared to participate in a regular drop in Ashtanga Yoga or Vinyasa flow yoga class.

Each one hour session builds upon the last beginning with Sun salutations, gradually introducing new elements each week.
The beginners course runs several times a year subject to demand and costs £50 for six sessions.

The January 2018 beginners course has now completed. The course will run again over the summer.
